Accordingto data from the Ministry of Commerce, China has been the world’slargest online retail market for nine years in arow[1].Data from the General Administration of Customs shows that China’scross-border e-commerce imports and exports have increased almosttenfold over the past five years and totaled RMB 1.92 trillion(about USD 263 billion) last year[2].The development of cross-border e-commerce not only boosts domesticconsumer demand, but also drives economic development by connectingChina’s market with the rest of the world.
